Kawachi Insho (“we”) respects your privacy and handles your personal information in line with Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
1. What we collect
- Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address
- The name you ask us to carve, and your order details
- Messages you send us
- Website usage data (pages viewed, device type) through cookies and Google Analytics
We do not collect images or numbers of your residence card. Card payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
2. How we use it
Proof images, approval status, revision requests and private access tokens are stored in Netlify Blobs to manage your proof. We do not copy your delivery address or email address into this proof store. Proof images contain the name to be engraved. Keep your proof link private and do not include addresses or other unnecessary personal information in revision requests.

We do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with these service providers:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Yamato Transport / Japan Post — delivery
- Resend — sending order emails
- Netlify — website hosting
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as required by Japanese law for accounting and tax purposes. We delete other information when it is no longer needed.
5. Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your personal information. Email us and we will reply within 2 business days.
